Cooking it old school

HEY EVERYONE!!!!!

So this week has been amazing. First and foremost, we had 2 baptisms A father (James) and his son (Tadiwa). So happy. Second (for all you South Africans and Africans) I heard a child say "Voetsek mama!" (Screw you mom!). This week we had some intresting times for sure. We had a Braai Saturday and it was a blast. We had Steak and Sweet Potato Chips (fries). Awesome braai. We also had a MASSIVE amounts of lessons and Investigators. The Lord is greatly blessing us in Tafara. But this week we got to work more in Bho-bho (a VERY poor village near tafara). Some of the homes are Plastic covered homes with a tin roof. Very humble. But the people there are more excepting of the gospel and the area around it is the epitome of African beauty. I'll try and get some pictures this week to show everyone. but really nothing crazy to write about as to we have been SWAMPED with teaching and so no really cool stories. Except that white people and fancy homes (tile floors, Plasma TV's, etc.)  are starting to really freak me out. I'm really feeling humbled by the people here and I love it. I love my Shona people and I love the culture here so much. But that's all I have this week and I hope everyone is doing well!!!

God Bless,
Elder Robert Hales
